1.) Problem-Based Learning Prompt: Time Capsule - Use the five links under "Background Information" to plan a time capsule, including its purpose, when it will be opened, and what it will contain. The final link, titled "Thought-Gathering Sheet - Time Capsule" is what you'll turn in. - There are two ways to submit your work: First, you can print off the Thought-Gathering Sheet, then scan & send it to my email ([email protected]) or Second, use the highlighted link at the very bottom. If you do this option, you'll need my email address ([email protected]) and write your response in the submission form. 2.) Section 2.11 in your Algebra 1 Textbook: - This is an extension of your Chapter 2 skills. - Read: Pg 144-146 - Do: Pg 147 #1-15 - Reminder: you can use the online textbook (link, username, & password are above). - We will go over the answers (and questions you have) during our online Q & A session on Thursday evening from 7:00-7:45pm. The directions to access the session on Microsoft Teams are (below) under last week's enrichment work. Optional Enrichment for the week of: March 23 - 27 (posted 3/23/20)
1.) Review Solving Systems of Equations by Substitution for Chapter 6 Test Retake (or Extra Credit) using additional resources: Khan Academy HippoCampus.org (this link takes you directly to Alg/Geo) - Click box "Select All Content" - Type "systems" in search box - Select an item from the list (only ones that refer to equations & by substitution) (Advanced students, choose ones that refer to three variables)
Do NOT watch them all! That would be WAY too much! 2.) Login to Microsoft Teams: click on file (below) for directions :)
*Once you've logged in, you'll find a poll to answer and a meeting notification under "Enrichment Work". You should also receive notifications of these in your school email (Outlook).
