1.) Problem-Based Learning Prompt: Time Capsule - Use the five links under "Background Information" to plan a time capsule, including its purpose, when it will be opened, and what it will contain. The final link, titled "Thought-Gathering Sheet - Time Capsule" is what you'll turn in. - There are two ways to submit your work: First, you can print off the Thought-Gathering Sheet, then scan & send it to my email ([email protected]) or Second, use the highlighted link at the very bottom. If you do this option, you'll need my email address ([email protected]) and write your response in the submission form. 2.) Chapter 12 Standardized Test: - This is not an actual test! It is designed to keep up your Chapter 12 skills. - Page 760-761 #1-2, 4-9, 11 (updated on 4/1/20) in your Algebra 2 textbook (#7 is a bonus question). - We will go over the answers (and questions you have) during our online Q & A session on Wednesday evening from 7:30-8:30pm. The directions to access the session on Microsoft Teams are (below) under last week's enrichment work. Optional Enrichment for the week of: March 23 - 27 (posted 3/23/20)
1.) Practice SAT: *Once you've completed the practice SAT and scored it, identify areas where you need to improve. Then, watch math examples on Khan Academy to get the help you need. 2.) Login to Microsoft Teams: click on file (below) for directions :)
*Once you've logged in, you'll find a poll to answer and a meeting notification under "Enrichment Work". You should also receive notifications of these in your school email (Outlook).

1.) Practice SAT: *All current 11th graders should take a full-length practice SAT. *Visit the College Board website and choose an online version -or- one of the paper versions (#1, #3, #5-10 at the bottom). Then, score your test. 2.) Chapter 7 in the Algebra 2 textbook: *Section 7.1 - nth Roots and Rational Exponents *Read: Pg 401-403 *Do: Pg 404 #1-12 *Additional resources: HippoCampus.org (this link takes you directly to Alg/Geo) - Click box "Select All Content" - Type "nth roots" in search box - Select an item from the list - Watch :) - Repeat by typing "rational exponents" in search box Note: Watch as many videos as you need to understand the content.
